Give the Dog a Home

2008_3_snowball.jpgWhen Lt. Governor Pat Quinn declared March 4 "Uno the Beagle Day," we realized that everyday is a good day to celebrate pets. And since there are plenty of good dogs out there without loving homes, what better way to celebrate a good dog like Uno the Beagle, than by adopting a dog that needs a good home?

Snowball, pictured, is one of those good dogs that deserves a great home. According to the Windy City Animal Foundation, Snowball is six years old, but "can be as active as a one year old puppy, playing with toys, tossing them around the room, entertaining himself", but that his years also show his maturity. He likes to fall asleep in your arms or your lap, and knows to sleep in a dog bed. He is smart, attentive, and friendly, and although the family that he is currently staying with thinks that he has some hip problems, that hasn't slowed him down. Snowball is up to date on all his routine shots, and he's been fixed, just like Bob Barker likes it!

If you think you can give Snowball, or any other type of pet a loving home, get in touch with the Windy City Animal Foundation, or give them a call at 773-509-5101.
