Walk like an Egyptian

The-Mummy--C10097549.jpg We knew that Chicago loved its zombies, but even we are surprised about how hot Chicagoans are for mummies.

On Tuesday, the Field Museum began offering tickets to their members to the new King Tut exhibit opening next year. According to to the Chicago Tribune, mummy-lovers from all over the city snatched up over over four thousand discount tickets by 4 PM. While groups and members have already picked up over thirty-three thousand tickets, those of us too lazy and stingy to purchase a museum membership will have to wait until the last week in January to get our chance to get our tickets to see the late boy king.

"Tutankhamun and the Golden Age of the Pharaohs" will be exhibited at the Field Museum from May 26, 2006 to Jan. 1, 2007.
