Elske Makes Eater's List Of Best New Restaurants In America

By Anthony Todd in Food on Jul 26, 2017 3:00PM

The accolades keep coming for Chicago restaurants in the national press! Today, it's Eater National's roving critic Bill Addison, who scoured the nation to come up with the 12 best new restaurants. Chicago made the list with Elske.

We reviewed Elske (pretty positively!) in January, and it sounds like it got even better by the time Addison visited. He calls his meal a "marriage of thrilling highs and lows," and agrees with the wisdom (which seems to be now accepted within the Chicago food geek crowd) that diners shouldn't order the tasting menu, but should instead assemble an a la carte meal when visiting Elske.

Congratulations to Chefs David and Anna Posey! There are still reservations available for Friday and Saturday night... just sayin'.
