Devil Horns Up: New Kuma's Corner To Open In West Loop Next Wednesday

The grills are primed to be lined with those massive patties, and the figurative back door is ready begrudgingly allow for wayward hippies: the West Loop location of Kuma's Corner, Chicago's very own iconic metal burger bar, will officially open its doors next week, on Wednesday, May 24.

The latest outpost of the beloved burger joint announced the news on Facebook on Monday.

The location at 852 W. Fulton Market, in the West Loop (which we are legally mandated to describe as "red hot"), will be the third in Chicago. The original Avondale location became a destination for locals and Not For Tourist-minded tourists quickly after establishing itself in 2005, famous for its up-to-11 metal soundtrack; intimidatingly thick and delicious metal-themed burgers and (if you didn't time it right) scary-long lines. The burgers routinely find themselves on any list of Chicago's best or most distinct worth its juice, including our own.

The slightly less-loud and beef-smell-saturated Kumas Too arrived in Lincoln Park in 2013. Kuma's confirmed plans for the new West Loop location in August of last year.
