Photos: Look Inside An Insanely Stunning Condo Church-Conversion In Lakeview

The largest condo inside a historic, converted Lakeview church is on the market for just over $1.5 million—which will get you four bedrooms, four bathrooms, plus exposed brick, a lofted office and cathedral ceilings, if you can afford it.

We can't, but we can still swoon over the recent real estate listing photos of the converted church. The church building, at 3101 N. Seminary Ave., was built in 1896, according to the real estate listing, and formerly housed Trinity Swedish Evangelical Lutheran Church. It was converted into five condos in 2003 by developer Alexander Pearsall, who used to live in the for-sale unit. The unit is full of historic details from the original church, and high-end new amenities, such as a two-story dining room and chef's kitchen, a steam double shower, 3 HVAC zones, an attached heated garage with parking for four cars and an electric car-charging station.

It last sold for $1.49 million in 2014. If homes priced south of $1 million are more your speed, there's a smaller unit also for sale in the building: Unit D is asking $850,000, and has been on the market off and on since July 2016.
