You Can Own Frank Lloyd Wright's Isidore Heller House For A Cool $2.4M

Frank Lloyd Wright's Isidore Heller House, built in 1897, just hit the market for a cool $2,425,000. With 7 bedroom, 4 bathrooms and 6,1500 square feet it's the perfect size to raise any turn-of-the century family.

The Hyde Park residence was built before the widespread acceptance of the "Prairie style" of residential architecture that Wright later became known for. In fact, the plaque outside of the house—yup, the listing price includes a historical plaque!—describes the building as a "significant departure from the conventional fashion of the days." In other words, it was weird for its time.

While the building might have been a bit odd when it was built 119 years ago, it has since become a protected piece of art, and was been named a national historic landmark in 2004 (so commercial developers need not apply).
