Photos: Look Inside Wicker Park's New Boutique Hotel

The folks behind the long-in-development Robey Hotel in Wicker Park announced this week that reservations are now open, according to a press release sent to Chicagoist. And it looks like they’ve also finally cracked the curtain on what guests can expect to see.

The photos show off previews of a few rooms with corresponding floor plans, plus the ground-floor restaurant, cafĂ© and rooftop pool. It’s all very much in keeping with the high-design aesthetic of the operators, Mexico-based upscale-hotel firm Grupo Habita. Very sleek, and a bit more classic-contemporary than the usual AirSpace interior look. The rooms are designed by Belgian duo Nicolas SchuybroekArchitects and Marc Merckx Interiors, according to the release. The 12-story hotel will house 69 units.

The much-anticipated Robey is located in the Northwest Tower building (2018 W. North Ave.) at Wicker Park’s main intersection of Damen, Milwaukee and North avenues. A sister lodging space, called The Hollander, will open next door. The hotel website now also includes a map of the neighborhood, spotlighting 20 nearby amenities—although it's sadly possible they’ll have to edit out Double Door later this year.

The Robey will open in November, with reservations beginning November 30.

Curbed and DNAinfo also posted about the hotel's new photos. Check out their stories, too.
