Umami Burger will open a West Loop location this month, the upscale burger chain's second location in Chicago, the company announced Tuesday. The new restaurant (945 W. Randolph St.) will have a bigger and better menu, including the burger above: the Monte Cristo Burger, an exclusive house special:

Half donut, half burger, the Monte Cristo Burger consists of a beef patty, prosciutto and gruyere fondue on deep-fried, vanilla-custard-soaked buns. It's topped with powdered sugar, and comes with a side of maple sugar for dipping. Or just drinking straight. Shots!

The house special aside, the West Loop Umami Burger will also have new small plates and starters, including Gochujang Short Rib Sliders and new vegetarian options, caramelized Brussel sprouts and butter corn among them.

The Wicker Park location, Chicago's first Umami Burger, opened in September of 2014. Like the Wicker Park location, the West Loop one will serve cocktails, wine and beer. It opens on July 25.
