Photos: New Seafood Restaurant Inside Swift & Sons Opens Thursday

It got delayed a bit, but the second restaurant concept nestled inside of Swift & Sons is finally opening for business on Thursday.

Swift & Sons, for those who might have missed the insane amount of coverage it's gotten, is the huge new steakhouse from Boka Group that opened in October. I was lukewarm on the spot (and so was the RedEye) when it first opened, but they just got a glowing review from the Reader, so I suspect their opening jitters are ending.

Cold Storage, the wall of which was visible from the bar when I visited, is a seafood-focused restaurant with a very different menu. Seafood towers are also available at Swift and Sons, but dishes like salmon skin chicharron, steamed clams in green chorizo broth and beer battered smelts with tartar sauce fill the menu. There's also a steak frites, in case you are driven crazy by the smell outside. Finally, there's a sandwich menu, including a grilled walleye sandwich with spicy peppers that will be the first thing I try.

Take a look at the menu, below, and some great shots of the food and interiors.
