Grab A Local Version Of The Notorious Burger King Black Burger In Logan Square

You've probably seen signs for the black burger at Burger King. It's officially called the "A1 Halloween Whopper," and, frankly, it's kind of terrifying.

There've even been rumors that it causes digestive...issues. Well, if you want to try a homegrown version of that same idea, head to Owen and Engine any time between now and Halloween.

Eater Chicago reports that Owen and Engine, the British-themed gastropub, is offering a black burger of their own.

Instead of chemicals, they're using squid ink and homemade ketchup to color the burgers. It'll be on sale until Saturday.
