It's been a rough week for Cardinals fans. Not only were they eliminated from playoffs this week, they haven't even been able to get a drink to drown their sorrows without hearing 'Go Cubs Go' playing on the jukebox. And now if they want to getaway from it all with a trip to Six Flags St. Louis, they will be reminded of this season's loss to the Cubs.

Before this week's game, Six Flags Great America and Six Flags St. Louis made a bet that whoever lost would have to name a ride after the other team. So now St. Louis has a ride with a new name: Cubs Thunder. The website describes the ride this way:

At first glance, Cubs Thunder looks like a classic wooden roller coaster, with mind-blowingly complex architecture rising 82-feet high over the park. But it is in fact built with ultra-modern techniques, so you are going to get that classic feel with a smoother, faster, more exciting ride than those old wooden coasters ever dreamed possible.

Maybe that will teach St. Louis not to trash talk? Doubt it.
