Ray McDonald, prized Chicago Bears free agent and serial troublemaker, is in even more hot water this week.

Last December, a woman accused McDonald of raping her at his house in California. Asked about the incident back in March, McDonald denied it, saying, "I don't think it's right. I don't think it's fair. ... People can put stuff out there that's not very credible and it can assassinate someone's character by doing that. But when you actually get a chance to meet someone and hear their side of the story then you get to see it for what it really is."

While McDonald hasn't yet been formally charged by the police, the same woman has filed a civil lawsuit accusing McDonald of sexual battery.

McDonald has claimed that the woman lost consciousness at his house due to excess alcohol consumption. But according to the lawsuit, the woman slipped on McDonald's pool deck, suffered a traumatic brain injury and lost consciousness. The suit also alleges that McDonald refused to call the police because he "didn’t want a dead woman found on his property." As the woman slipped in and out of consciousness, she claims that McDonald's former teammate Ahmad Brooks repeatedly groped her. McDonald then carried her to his bedroom and had non-consensual sex with her. She also claims that there is video evidence that backs up her side of the story.
