Today's Weather: Winter Kills

A downright balmy weekend has melted much of the snow and ice that have accumulated over the past month, but it's left the ground across Chicago muddy and soggy. Expect more of the same today as the snow melt continues. Highs are expected to reach the mid-40s again with clear skies and light southern breezes contributing to the thaw.
The rest of the week looks even better, at least until the rains arrive Friday. We can start our spring cleaning.
