We've long been fans of Fear No Art's series The Dinner Party. Tonight they host another evening of fine food, drink and conversation at City Winery. The premise is simple; the host, Elysabeth Alfano, invites three guests of interest and a known chef to dinner. The event is filmed in front of a live audience while good food, improvised performance and conversation flows almost as fluidly as the wine.

The $45 cost of admission not only covers the live show but audience members get to enjoy large tasting portions of the chef's appetizer and entrées along with wine pairings from City Winery, Voss water, DAVIDsTea and chocolate from Vosges. If you send in questions for the guests via Twitter, you could also win one of many prizes, from theatre tickets to dinner for two.

Tonight's guest include Chef Rick Bayless, author Sara Paretsky, New Yorker cartoonist Pat Byrnes and Award winning Chef Carrie Nahabedian serving up a soup of roasted chestnuts and scotch scented crème de café, confit duck, puffed wild rice and Bosc pear and a farm raised rabbit lasagna. Singer Joan Collaso will open the evening as well.

Fear No Art presents The Dinner Party, tonight, March 31 at City Winery (1200 W. Randolph St.) Doors are at 6:30 p.m. and the event start at 7 p.m. and you can purchase tickets ($45 each) here.
