Mucca Pazza holds a special place in our hearts. This 30-person troupe of musical misfits makes up Chicago’s beloved punk marching band, known for bringing rich brass harmonies, stomping rhythms, quirky costumes and circus theatrics to the stage. (Though they can hardly be contained by the restraints of a platform). 2014 is a milestone for the act: This year, the band celebrates a decade of making people move their junk with horn-blowing goodness and explosive percussion.

That’s right, our darlings are growing up, and, in typical Mucca Pazza style, they’re going all out for the occasion with a residency at Revolution Brewing on Milwaukee Avenue.

They’ll perform four Mondays in a row. Starting Feb. 17 and running through March 10 in the brewpub’s upstairs Brewers' Lounge—a project they call Sitting In Chairs.

Sure it’s a seated performance, but anyone who’s seen Mucca Pazza live before knows that there’s still plenty of opportunity for things to get wild. Another reason to go: they’ll be playing songs from an upcoming album due out in August. In the meantime, treat your eyeballs and ear holes to this video for “Boss Taurus”:

Mucca Pazza plays Mondays Feb. 17 through March 10 at Revolution Brewing, 2323 N Milwaukee Ave., 8:30 p.m., $12, 21+
