Restaurant News: Headquarters Beercade River North Location Revealed; Green St. Smoked Meats Opens Next Month

- Back in October we wrote about Headquarters Beercade's plans to open a location in River North. The popular arcade bar said they would announce the new location's exact address in early 2014 and now they have. They'll be taking over the former Enclave nightclub space, which closed down last week after eight years of providing lowest common denominator nightlife for women in pencil skirts and the men who chase them. The location is ideal, steps from the Chicago Avenue Brown Line station and a growing number of quality dining options. One question: will there be bottle service near the pinball machines? - Brendan Sodikoff, who seemingly has four or five restaurant projects opening or in the works, will "quietly" (for him) open Green St. Smoked Meats Feb. 4. The theme of the new venture is Texas-style BBQ, with Sodikoff's twists thrown in. The restaurant will be located at 112 N. Green St. [312 Dining Diva]

- Stan's Donuts will be opening a shop just south of Wicker Park's six corners "crotch" intersection with a retro vibe. Baker Rich Labriola said weather will not be a factor and they'll open "even if it's negative 20 out." [DNAInfo Chicago]
