Company is a unique dining space in Evanston that offers up a 20-seat room for different chefs to host dinners in, and tonight through this weekend a favorite of ours is taking over the helm. Allison Scott and Andrea Deibler will be hosting an evening of comforting winter food for guests to enjoy. Scott is the savory chef at Hoosier Mama Pie Company. She also co-wrote the shop’s book and has contributed recipes to the Soup & Bread cookbook. Deibler is a butcher at Homestead Meats and Deli in Evanston and also developed a whole-animal butchery program at the Hopleaf and City Provisions over the last few years. Expect wonderful baked good and excellent cuts of meat.

Their menu includes a charcuterie plate, panzanella salad with smoked whitefish and house giardiniera, a cassoulet pie with duck confit and lard crust, as well as a spiced plum upside down cake with brown butter ice cream. The dinner is BYOB as well.

Tickets for Friday and Saturday night are sold out, but there are still some available for tonight and Sunday. Admission is $65 (gratuity not included), dinner begins at 7:30 p.m. Company is located at 1307 Chicago Ave in Evanston.
