Penguin Hops, the beer brewed by Revolution Brewing using hops grown at Shedd Aquarium, has proven to be very popular with beer drinkers across the city. This may be your last chance to raise a glass or two until Revolution grabs the Shedd's hops inventory next year.
Last week there were 19 restaurants and bars in the Chicago area. That list is now down to two and they're treks if you want to enjoy the beer.
The Bavarian Lodge (1800 Ogden Ave., Lisle) and Geneva Ale House (319 W. State St., Geneva) are serving 5.7 ounce pours of Penguin Hops for $6. The Bavarian Lodge is a short Metra ride away.
