New Map Shows Where To Find Quality Food Delivery On Chicago's North Side

By Chuck Sudo in Food on Oct 16, 2013 7:45PM

Rentenna, a rental listing aggregator that assists people in narrowing their apartment searches via “scores” of neighborhoods including amenities, neighborhoods, renter ratings and the “freshness” of listings, created a food delivery heat map that will almost ensure renters who don’t know how to use a kitchen to value trendy north side neighborhoods over the rest of the city.

The heat map lists areas of the city with no delivery options, average choices for food delivery and what Rentenna calls “food delivery nirvana.” Except for a few spots near college campuses south of the Eisenhower, the South Side doesn’t even rank. If you’re looking to rent a one-bedroom apartment at 3950 N. Lake Shore Drive for $1175/month, you’re in luck. If you’re renting a two bedroom in Brighton Park for $725 you better buy a cookbook from a used bookstore and some pots and pans.

Or you can just search for an apartment on Craigslist, sign a lease and walk around to discover your delivery options like the rest of us.

We’ve included the heat map below; you can click on it to open in a new window and enlarge.
