Video: Another Fight On A CTA Bus

Bearing witness to arguments, shouting matches and fights on CTA buses is another badge of living in Chicago: it's more uncommon if one doesn't observe antagonistic behavior. This video sent to Chicagoist by a tipster stands out for the lopsided nature of the fight and for how it definitively answers the question, "You wouldn't hit a man with glasses, would you?"

We wouldn't if the man in question is the huge dude raining punches down on the thinner, drunker man who swung first and knocked off the big guy's glasses. We're going to have "he ain't going to jail—he going to Hell" stuck in our heads all night. This video also has the requisite amateur law advice and other comments by passengers, a mad dash for the back of the bus by people who don't want to get caught by a stray punch, and a clear-cut winner. Even the ones encouraging the fight implore the big man to stop throwing punches because most of them find the mark.
