Pecking Order has been one of our favorite indulgences ever since it opened last year. Their Sunday brunch is an absolute winner, but they've always had a policy of closing at 5 p.m. on Sundays. This is great for their employees but not so great for our hungry end-of-weekend tummies. Luckily, they are launching a monthly family-style supper that promises to be a great value.

Starting this Sunday, April 28, Chef Kristine Subido will be putting on a family style feast for $24 per person. What will your $24 get you?

- Slow-Braised Chicken and Pork Adobo Fried Potatoes with Green Onion Sauce
- Sautéed Cabbage with Shrimp
- Choice of rice or warm pandesal bread

Children under 12 are $12. The dinner runs from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Make reservations by calling 773-907-9900.

Pecking Order is located at 4416 N. Clark Street.
