Insomnia Cookies Opens In Lincoln Park

2013_4_16_insomnia_cookies.jpg Some things sound too good to be true, but there they are anyway, begging you to bite in when you really should be sleeping or perhaps just spearing your fork into some salad instead. So it is with late-night cookies and milk, an almost storybook sugar craving that some Chicagoans can now satisfy without the aid of Keebler Elves thanks to Insomnia Cookies, which opened its first Chicago storefront last week along Lincoln Avenue.

The cookiery chain delivers brownies, ice cream, cookies, and milk until 3 a.m. to those living within Lakewood, Diversey, Armitage, and Lincoln Park, an area small enough to ensure the cookies remain warm and the milk and ice cream cold when transported via bicycle. Whether a white chocolate macadamia will help lull you to slumberland may be up for debate, but there's something to be said for sating a sweet tooth well after you've brushed your teeth.

Insomnia Cookies is located at 2260 N. Lincoln Ave.
