There's still time to RSVP for RedEye's Best Bartender competition 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Feb. 27 at Benchmark (1510 N. Wells Street). The final four will be shaking their signature cocktails while guests will also enjoy Ketel One drink specials. We're rooting for the neighborhood favorite, Ken Zawacki of Maria's. RSVP here.

Beer

Bell's Brewing is hosting a special tasting of its "Jazz" series at Hopleaf beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. Jazz is a series of three Bière di Gardes: Le Batteur, Le Pianiste, and Le Contrabassiste (blonde, amber and brown respectively). They'll also tap the only keg available in Chicago of Bell's Imperial Red Ale, "This One Goes to 11 Ale." (5148 N. Clark Street)
