Two Days of Barrel Aged Beers At Jerry's Sandwiches And Paddy Long's

If the hullabaloo surrounding the Festival of Wood and Barrel Aged Beers is any indication, the city of Chicago is crazy about beers aged with wood. Our Midwestern winter provides the perfect climate to enjoy these often heavy in booze and always huge in flavor beers. Come the end of February, our bodies aren’t just in need of wool sweaters for our torsos, but also inside sweaters for our cold, hollow bellies.
If Chicagoans are in need, there is always someone to provide. In the end of February, you’ll have two awesome opportunities to warm your insides on some heavy-hitting barrel-aged beverages. For those of you unafraid of Friday morning hangovers, Jerry’s Sandwiches presents Oak and Iron II: A Bounty of Barrel-Aged Beer. This list boasts some big, woody brews that will be served alongside a heavy dose of metal, fantasy-inspired prog, and dungeon synth provided by DJ Grimsbørg. Medieval costumes are encouraged.
