Pencil This In: Amigos de Pinxto 2.0 At Barcito; Hug City Stand-Up Comedy Showcase

Ryan Poli's "Amigos de Pinxto" Mondays at Barcito rolls into 2013 in style 8 p.m. tonight at Barcito (151 W. Erie) with Lee Wolen of The Peninsula Chicago and Philip Foss from El Ideas creating delicious and unique Spanish pintxos for $25/person, all-you-can-eat. Amigos de Pinxto will happen every other Monday throughout the year. A portion of the proceeds from each event benefits Pilot Light, a collective of culinary arts professionals who work change children's perceptions of food through interpersonal implementation of food education programs, both working directly with schools and acting as a catalyst for community organizations.

Comedy

Kevin Bozeman headlines a loaded lineup for Tuesday night's Hug City stand-up comedy showcase at Racine Plumbing Bar and Grill (2642 N. Lincoln Ave.). Also on the bill are Drew Michael, Saurin Choksi, Nate Baimel and host Marty DeRosa. This 21+ show is free and starts at 9:30 p.m. Enjoy 25-cent wings between laughs.
