Soup, Bread, Fundraiser

We wrote on Halloween about Soup & Bread's warm-up events for their 2013 season. The big one—a benefit for the Garfield Park Conservatory—runs 6-8 p.m. tomorrow at the Conservatory. Chefs from West Town Tavern, City Provisions, Mana Food Bar, and Lula CafĂ© (among others) will make soups that incorporate ingredients grown in the Conservatory. Soup & Bread's Martha Bayne and Sheila Sachs will also have a special "hailstone soup" section highlighting the Conservatory's ongoing efforts to recover from last year's hailstorm that severely damaged the greenhouse's glass roofs. There's a suggested donation of $5. (300 N. Central Park Ave.)

Bingo, Bondage and Booze

Sate your inner hedonist, exhibitionist and possibly cretin tonight with Bondage Bingo at Three Aces. Host Danny Delicious will lead guests in an evening of naughtiness where prizes include shots of Old Crow or a spanking. (1327 W. Taylor St.; 9 p.m.)

If you have an event for inclusion in "Pencil This In," please contact Tankboy (for A&E-related listings), Anthony (for tastings, dinners and food and drink-related events) or tips[at]chicagoist[dot]com.
