Pencil This In: Food + Trivia, A Night of Cutthroat Competition Benefitting Hurricane Sandy Relief Efforts

Tasting Table editor Heather Sperling and Plate editor Chandra Ram are the hosts for a food and trivia event 7 p.m. Nov. 12 at Sono Wood Fired pizza that will also serve as a fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy relief efforts.

Sperling and Ram have put together a three round culinary trivia contest guaranteed to test even the most informed foodies, all while snacking on Sono's wood-fired pizzas, antipasti cheeses and gelati. The grand prize winner who can best Sperling and Ram's celebrity panel will received a gift certificate good at Sono or its sister restaurant, Burger Bar Chicago. 100 percent of the proceeds from this event will go to the Red Cross.
