Foodie Finds: Foie Gras Royale At Sepia

By Amy Cavanaugh in Food on Oct 13, 2012 6:00PM

2012_10_10_sepia_pate.jpg I recently made a trip to Sepia to try the new fall cocktails, and we got this gorgeous foie gras royale to nosh on. The base is a lush, creamy foie gras, and it's topped with sour cherry gelee that adds a beautiful pop of acid as well as a different textural note. A sprinkling of hazelnuts adds a toasty note, and you can slather it all on buttery brioche.

Pair it with the fall old fashioned, which is made with pomegranate-infused rye, blood orange, and ras el hanout bitters that Josh Pearson makes in house.
