Pencil This In: CSA Potluck At Hideout

As if the weekly veggie bingo series at hideout wasn't enough, the venerable bar and music club is hosting a CSA potluck Thursday, Aug. 9 at 5;30 p.m. Julia McDonald from Peasants' Plot and Harry Carr from Mint Creek Farm will talk about the importance of community-sponsored agriculture, while Mike and Clare's, Mint Creek, Heritage Prairie, Peasants' Plot, Radical Roots, Harvest Moon, Breslin Farm, Three Plaid Farmers, Earth First, Nisse Farm and Vidonevich Farm will be participating farms. Bring a dish to the event or a recipe while Lou Shields plays guitar throughout.
