Pencil This In: Evanston Food Truck Fest

Evanston's Hummingbird Kitchen City Council is currently in session and one of the items of business they're discussing is the food truck ordinance. Tomorrow from 5:30 p.m. - 9 p.m. at Brummel Park in Evanston (Brummel St. at Elmwood Ave., Evanston) Hummingbird Kitchen, TamaleSpaceship, Sweet Ride Chi, Taquero Fusion and 5411 Empanadas will be serving up their wares as part of a food truck fest in advance of a concert featuring Andre Williams and the Goldstars. Williams will bring his agile, mobile and hostile self to the stage at 7 p.m. and is never to be missed. So grab some tamales, sweets and burgers and enjoy.
