In Pictures: Color Jam

By Samantha Abernethy in Arts & Entertainment on Jun 6, 2012 8:50PM

Color Jam officially premiered yesterday, the third installment of The Chicago Loop Alliance's Art Loop public art initiative. Using 76,000 square feet of colored vinyl, artist Jessica Stockholder has created the largest public artwork in Chicago at the intersection of State and Adams streets. Color Jam is designed to create the sensation of "walking through an animated film." The work will be up until September 30. See our previous piece for more information on the installation.
