In the early days of this here website, Monk's Pub was the meeting place for the staff to place faces to names. Over they years they've tried to bridge the gap between being a post-work watering hole for downtown office dwellers and a legitimate beer bar, with varying degrees of success.

Starting at 5 p.m. today, Monk's is going to be pouring nothing but summer beers from its taps. The featured beers are:

  • Ommegang Witte
  • Ommegang Art of Darkness
  • Chouffe Bier D’Soleil
  • Abita Purple Haze
  • Sünner Kölsch
  • La Trappe Witte
  • House of Shandy Curious Traveler
  • Blanche De Bruxelles
  • Arcadia Whitsun Ale
  • Great Lakes Holy Moses White Ale
  • Bell's Oberon Ale
  • New Holland Golden Cap

Come for the beer. Stay for the unlimited free peanuts.
