Art Shay to Discuss Photojournalism at Lincoln Park Apple Store

It was a year ago this week when Art Shay, through his archivist and assistant Erica DeGlopper, emailed me about contributing to Chicagoist. Little did I know at the time just how rewarding the entire experience would be.

Not once has he missed a deadline in the near year since his first post, and there have been times along the way where missing one was certainly justified. Art has a work ethic that bloggers, writers and journalists would be wise to follow.

Art will discuss his 60-year career at the Lincoln Park Apple store Dec. 28 at 7 p.m. If you're looking for some extra insight into the methods behind his madness, this would be an ideal opportunity to hear him chat with him, a treasure in which I get to relish weekly.
