"Pigskin" Burger at DMK Burger Bar

DMK logo.jpeg DMK Burger Bar has created a new burger for the Chicago Bears that might make us venture into the place during the insanely-packed game days. Or at least, fantasize about it. The "Pigskin" burger is made with root beer-braised pork, a grass-fed beef burger, aged organic Wisconsin cheddar, pickles and onions. Oh, and "love," according to DMK.

However, Time Out Chicago food critic David Tamarkin brings up an interesting point via Twitter. Will Chicago Bears fans object to the cheese? DT tweets: "I don't know from sports, but isn't it a little sacrilege to take a Bears-inspired burger and top it with Wisconsin cheddar?" Oooh. That'll lead to a throwdown when the Bears play the Packers.

The burger will be available for $10 during every home or away Bears game.

DMK Burger Bar is located at 2954 N Sheffield.
