CDOT Taking Online Suggestions for Chicago Pedestrian Plan

We'll admit the one member of Mayor Emanuel's candidate we've been most impressed with is Transportation Commissioner Gabe Klein. From floating the idea of bringing pedestrian scrambles to high congestion areas and wiring bus shelters with real-time transportation updates, Klein has brought a breath of fresh air to CDOT.

The Chicago Pedestrian Plan is a joint effort from the Chicago Department of Transportation and the Mayor's Pedestrian Advisory Council to draft and hopefully implement a comprehensive plan to improve pedestrian traffic in Chicago. You can add your two cents to the discussion by filling out their online comment card. Some of the more popular suggestions are also available to view. We've posted a few of our favorites for you.
