In Pictures: Lakefront Fog

We were joking yesterday about the fog that closed down beaches along the lakefront. These pictures - particularly the two shots Benjy captured that lead off this set - show it wasn't a laughing matter.

There are more shots of the fog along the lakefront here. Today's heat advisory basically assures we'll all be in the same boat today. Now 75 degree reading in Hyde Park and 90 degree readings inland.

And the NOAA animation of the spreading heat wave provides further proof that the only thing good about Texas is Austin.
