City officials estimated the crowd for yesterday's Pride Parade at around 750,000 people, citing the perfect weather and celebration over both Illinois civil unions law and the passage of same sex marriage in New York as reasons that people came out to the parade. The total number of floats that had their tires slashed early Sunday morning stands at 51.
