Venus Zine Closes Up Shop

2010_12_8_venus_zine.jpg Venus Zine, the Chicago-based magazine focusing on women in music, culture, fashion and the DIY scene, is ceasing print operations. Editor-in-chief sent out an e-mail acknowledging the move and her impending layoff, saying that finances are the reason behind the move.

The publisher that purchased Venus Zine earlier this year still intends to maintain its web presence.
