Get Your Geek On At The Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo

2010_03_30_c2e2.jpg We're a little over two weeks away from the Chicago Comic & Entertainment Expo (C2E2 for short) and it's a bit surprising how quick it snuck up on us. This isn't to say that we aren't excited for the massive three day event - we are - it just managed to sneak under our radar. The convention, which covers the latest and greatest in comics, movies, television, toys, anime, manga and video games, will run April 16 to April 18 at the McCormick Place and will be jam packed with panels, film screenings, exhibits, signings and just about everything else to make us self-professed geeks buckle at the knees.

Guests at C2E2 include Alex Ross (the Keystone Guest of Honor), Chris Ware, Neil Gaiman, Jeph Loeb, Chip Kidd, Max Brooks and Carrie Fisher. There's also a list of events that make navigating and scheduling a day at Lollapalooza seem like child's play. In short, the wonderful folks behind C2E2 have pulled out all the stops to make the expo a premier showcase of what's new in pop culture. Luckily, tickets are still available at $25 for single day passes and $50 for the weekend though a few events, like the Gaiman appearance, require a separate ticket purchase. If you can make the expo, look out for our Editor-in-Chief Marcus - he'll be in the Princess Leia getup [Ed's note: Only if I can squeeze myself into the gold bikini].
