Winter Olympics
Chicago's Shani Davis wasn't able to skate away with another gold medal but he did earn the silver in the men's 1500m speed skating race to go along with his earlier gold medal. Daivs finished with a time of 1:46.10, just .53 behind Mark Tuitert of the Netherlands.

In ice hockey, the 'Hawks' Marian Hossa scored another goal to help Team Slovokia ease past Team Latvia 6-0. All five of the remaining 'Hawks will be in action tonight as USA and Canada square off in the final preliminary game for both teams.

Bulls Keep Winning
The Bulls waxed the 76ers 122-90 for their fourth straight win. After a close first quarter, the Bulls sprinted past Philly in the second to extend their lead to 19 points at the half and never looked back. Seven Bulls scored in double-figures, led by Taj Gibson who had 20 points and 13 rebounds; Derrick Rose and Kirk Hinrich each scored 17. Joakim Noah even saw some limited action.

College Basketball
No. 4 Purdue topped Illinois 75-65...DePaul's Big East struggles continued as they lost to Louisville 68-59...NIU's losing streak hit 10 games as they lost to EIU 73-70...Loyola fell for the eighth time in ten games as Creighton knocked off the Ramblers 78-58...UIC edged Evansville 82-80.
