Rollers Get Set To Bring It In Bout 2

The Double Crossers (black) got off to a winning note against a rebuilding Hell's Belles (red)

The Windy City Rollers are set to bring more hard-hitting action to the floor of the UIC Pavilion tomorrow night and Bout 2 of the 2010 season features two fantastic match-ups. Get there on time because the first match pits the two undefeated teams against each other. The defending champion Manic Attackers held off The Fury to start the season 1-0 but they'll be facing the 1-0 Double Crossers who made a statement with their 171-48 thrashing of a rebuilding Hell's Belles team. And in the second match, the two winless teams look to put together their first victory. The Belle's hope to get back on the winning side while The Fury looks to shake off the disappointment of the close loss from Bout 1. But one of the teams will skate away unhappy and at 0-2 so expect a tight, hard-fought contest.

The Rollers were also featured on NBC 5 this week, shedding more light on the sport and taking a peek behind the curtain. We've said it before and we'll say it again: it's a heck of a great (and family friendly!) time so turn off the Olympics and get down to the UIC Pavilion tomorrow night for some flat track fun.
