Morning Box Score: OKC Rumbles Past Bulls

By Marcus Gilmer in News on Jan 5, 2010 4:10PM

The Bulls managed to keep Kevin Durant largely in check but the Oklahoma City Thunder still managed to rumble past the Bulls by a 98-85 final. All five Bulls starters scored in double-figures - led by Derrick Rose who had 19 and double-doubles from Luol Deng (15-10) and Joakim Noah (14-14) - but none broke 20 points. The Bulls actually led at the half but squandered that lead in a poor third quarter. Overall, the Bulls shot a pretty abysmal 35.4 percent from the field, not helping their cause. There's no rest, either, as they're in Charlotte tonight to face the Bobcats, (6 p.m., CSN).
