Man Plays Chicken with El Train, Loses

“Trick-Move Gone Bad” award of the day: A man was charged with reckless conduct and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital after sticking his foot in front of an El train at the Clark and Division red line stop around 1 this morning.

Police say the train was moving slowly and the conductor slammed on the brakes but could not avoid foot-to-train contact. The man was knocked to the ground in front of several witnesses and "may have been drunk." His foot was only slightly injured and we guess he will be returning to the Rush and Division bar scene in no time. Aw, snap.
