Here we go again ... The Police are coming back to town, playing Allstate Arena, with Elvis Costello opening. We enjoyed them immensely last time they came through town, but we'll probably pass on seeing them again, although Costello is a much more enticing opening act than Sting's son. But we reckon Costello was brought in to counter the fact that the immediate mix of nostalgia and excitement will probably make it harder to move tickets this time.

Regardless, if you missed the band at Wrigley Field last summer, we have no problems recommending that you catch their live act while you can, since there's still no guarantee that the whole thing will implode. This is especially true if they decide to make the grave mistake of actually recording any new music together.

The Police will play Allstate Arena on May 10, and tickets will go on sale go on sale on through TicketBastard on Monday, February 25 at 10 a.m.

Thanks to Matt for the tip!
