Arrest Made in the Lane Bryant Murders?

By Margaret Lyons in News on Feb 13, 2008 4:37PM

2008_2_13.tinleysuspect.jpgThe Trib and Sun-Times are reporting that police have arrested a suspect in the Tinley Park murders, but the Tinley Park PD says no arrests have been made.

The suspect, according to the Trib, is already on parole and was arrested after authorities noticed a resemblance between his photograph and the sketch of the gunman, but that's the extent of the evidence linking him to the murders. The Sun-Times says he was arrested in his Chicago home around 12:30am this morning.

The reward for information leading to an arrest is now $60,000, and if you have any tips, you should stop reading the internet and call Cook County Crime Stoppers at (800) 535-STOP or (708) 444-5394.[Trib, WBBM, S-T]
