With the city being overrun by holiday bar crawls, it might be difficult to walk the streets this weekend without being accosted by a drunk dude in holiday vest or run over by a Santa in a hazmat suit. Throw on your best Cosby sweater and enjoy any or all of these weekend delights....

Head to the nearest cineplex and see Juno, the most talked about movie starring Michael Cera since the last movie starring Michael Cera.

Stop being lazy and finish your holiday shopping while supporting a good cause at the Fair Trade Holiday Bazaar this Saturday and Sunday at the Bethany United Church of Christ (4250 N. Paulina) And no, it’s not a church filled with WWJD bracelets- find everything from bamboo lounge chairs made in Vietnam to handmade purses from Tanzania and be assured that all of your money is going directly to the artisan.

Go see An Aerosmith Christmas at Annoyance Theater, tonight at 10pm. Because Aerosmith + Jesus’ birthday has comedy show written all over it.

2007_12_14.alotofworkforsomestupidcookies.jpgBake a few 3-D holiday cookies (kit pictured) and enjoy them with friends and family. Bake two hundred 3-D holiday cookies, line them up in rows, turn on The Santa Clause and eat a row every time Tim Allen says, “This is ridiculous, I’m not Santa.”

Thrill Jockey is celebrating 15 years this weekend at the Logan Square Auditorium. Fifty bucks gets you a two day pass to see the Fiery Furnaces, Califone, The Sea and Cake and a dozen other bands on the label.
