2007_06_01_lacrosse.jpgLacrosse Fans should head out to Toyota Park this Saturday to catch some Illinois High School Lacrosse action in addition to checking out the professionals of the Chicago Machine.

The first game on the docket Saturday is a match-up of Grayslake and Fenwick at 2pm in the Lacrosse Cup Final, featuring finalists from the Illinois Class B tournament. Directly after that match at 4pm will be the Class A Illinois State Championship game. Since 2002 either Loyola Academy (2002, 2003 and 2004) or New Trier (2005 and 2006) has been crowned Illinois State Champions in Class A lacrosse. The two clubs go at it again with this being the fourth time in six years the clubs have met in the final match of the season with the winner earning the 2007 State Champion bragging rights.

The feature game of the night will be the Major Lacrosse League game between the Chicago Machine and the Denver Outlaws scheduled for 7pm. If you are going to the game Saturday we recommend you go early and check out the high school championship games. But, if you can't go early take the Bud Light Club Party Shuttle that leaves Duffy's at 6pm delivering you at Toyota Park in time for the 7pm face-off.
