2007_04_23_allstate.jpgTwo Allstate Arena-based franchises are finding success. The Chicago Wolves kicked off their playoff campaign this weekend against their rival to the north, the Milwaukee Admirals. The Wolves took advantage of home ice, winning the first two games in the best of seven series. They won the first game 3-2 and skated to an easier victory in the second game, 4-1.

The Wolves travel north of the border for game three on Tuesday night at 7 at the Bradley Center. Should there be a game five in the series it will be Friday night at 7:30 at the Allstate Arena. Tickets for Wolves home playoff games can be purchased online.

The Chicago Rush Arena Football Team is also enjoying a successful 2007 season. Since losing their season opener on the road, the Rush have rattled off six straight victories, including the two recent road victories over the Nashville Kats and Grand Rapids Rampage. Including last year's championship season, the Rush are 12-1 in their last thirteen games and have not lost at home in over a year.

The Rush returns home this weekend for a two-game stand. They take on the Philadelphia Soul on April 30 and the Colorado Crush on May 7.
