It's All Fun and Games Until Someone Gets a Cap in the Ass

We’ve heard of East Coast vs. West Coast hip-hop feuds, but how does the Second City figure in? Apparently, the latest feud involves Chicago’s Nice Peter, who combine improv with rock, versus 50 Cent. Now, we’re not giving a huge amount of credence to this “feud” because we don’t really believe that 50 Cent has actually heard the song that’s causing the ruckus — “50 Cent is a Pussy” off the latest Nice Peter live album.
Peter Shukoff stated to AllHipHop.com that the song isn’t all that serious and was a response to 50 Cent’s mega-marketing campaign where he released a CD, movie, and video game all at once. Shukoff continues, “I mean what I say in the song, but I don’t necessarily think 50 Cent is a pussy. I think if I met up with him in a bar, he’d take me out pretty quickly.”
Quickly perusing the other songs in Nice Peter’s discography, it doesn’t seem like anyone would take the group’s lyrics that seriously. These are just a few of the gems that appear on their albums: “Mystery of the Clit,” “It’s Time to Be Gay,” and “Smoke that Weed.” Of course, after a look at 50 Cent’s songs “Wanksta,” “High All the Time,” and “Gatman and Robbin’,” we think that these two have too much in common to be hating on each other for too long.
