2005_04_sports_bulls_playoffs_1.jpgChicagoist wants to know how the first Bulls playoff game in 7 years ended up opposite the second Passover sedar. You'd think that with David Stern as NBA commissioner and owner Jerry Reinsdorf both Jewish, they'd have a little more sympathy for their Jewish fans! So Chicagoist didn't get to actually see the first Bulls playoff game.

And man are we sorry about that! Ben Gordon had a spectacular game. He scored 30 points, including 12 in the 4th quarter as the Bulls turned a 5 point defecit into a victory. Andrew Nocioni had his biggest game all season, with 25 points and 18 rebounds. Meanwhile, Chris Duhon helped hold Gilbert Arenas to only 9 points. Which team has all the rookies in its rotation?

The Bulls and Wiz face off again Wed. night at the United Center. Chicagoist will be there in person this time. That begins to make up for missing the first game...

Following tomorrow's game, the series moves to D.C. for 2 games. Then it alternates game by game as necessary, with the Bulls having the home court advantage. Chicagoist predicts that the Bulls will win the series, but it'll take them 6 or the full 7 games.
